Overview
Our school values are belonging, excellence, aspiration and respect. We decided that our baby elephant should be respectful and kind because it can set a good example for the rest of the school. The children were asked what are their favourite activities to do and they said playing with their friends and reading books. Our design for our elephant is based on the children’s ideas of what belonging means to them. The design shows the multi-cultural heritage in Merrydale Junior school.
