All Ears

Overview
All Ears is inspired by the variety of languages spoken in Leicester. At least 70 different ones – making Leicester one of the most linguistically diverse places in the UK. Artist Hannah Jayne Lewin’s colourful design, featuring a variety of ways to greet one other, encourages people to listen to the diversity of human communication. Look out for a few animals making their voices heard and feel the textured ‘Hello’ in braille.

Meet the Artist
Hannah Jayne Lewin
Hi, I’m Hannah Jayne Lewin, a freelance illustrator based in Yorkshire. I love drawing and creating fun characters to make people smile. My background is in children’s book illustration, but I have also worked on wall murals, licensing designs, sculpture trails and window art. My clients include Scholastic, Thortful and Cardly. I’m happiest when I’m drawing and I’m always excited by my next creative challenge. I’m inspired by people, cultures and animals and I love to develop quirky characters and illustrated worlds inspired by things I see on my travels.
