A Child’s Mind

Overview
It’s time to take a peek inside of a child’s mind. Filled with joy, colour, innocence and life, we can all enjoy returning to our childhood from time to time. Lauran’s elephant is loosely inspired by Elmer, a child’s favourite, filled with patches of colour and joy in every inch and a whole range of things that children just enjoy – because they can!

Meet the Artist
Lauren Perkins
I’m an illustrator from Leicester with a passion for creating artwork that makes people smile and talk. I love to build connections through my art, bringing people closer together and provide them material that they can relate to. I love to create characters, whether that’s people, animals or a balloon with a face added on! My work is colourful, sensitive and sincere and always means a lot to me. If my work can provoke emotions then I am satisfied I have utilised my creativity to the maximum. I use my own personal experiences to guide and develop the art I create.
