Overview
Our elephant is named Echo (inspired by Alex Echo, one of the artists involved in the elephant project!). Lots of pupils at Ratby Primary School submitted fantastic design ideas for decorating Echo, their brief was to show what Ratby Village and the school means to them. We combined two finalists; one who used different shades of ‘Ratby Green’ as a background and another who added lots of small images to represent Ratby School and village. The school’s Art Ambassadors and a few members of staff made the design a reality and we are very pleased with how he turned out!
