Overview
Elefont captures the essence of Leicester’s diverse communities, each letter a reflection of the city’s cultural mosaic. From street art to road markings, these letterforms symbolise more than just typography; they represent the people, places, and stories that make Leicester feel like home. This elephant celebrates the power of diversity, culture, family, and community. Each letter is a piece of Leicester’s identity, showing how the city’s unique voices come together to form a powerful whole. It invites everyone, from local residents to
visitors, to see Leicester through fresh eyes—one letter, one story, one community at a time.

Meet the Artist
Craig & Adam Lister
With over 20 years of experience in the creative industry, I am a graphic designer and creative director dedicated to crafting visual narratives that resonate with audiences. My journey has allowed me the privilege of collaborating with globally recognized brands, including Marvel, BBC, Canon, Disney, and Ford, among others. Each project has provided a unique opportunity to blend creativity with strategy, bringing concepts to life in ways that engage and inspire.
My work is rooted in a deep appreciation for storytelling and the power of design to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively. I thrive on the challenge of transforming brand identities into compelling visual experiences, whether through dynamic graphics, engaging layouts, or immersive digital platforms. I believe that design is not just about aesthetics; it is about creating meaningful connections between brands and their audiences.
In addition to my professional endeavors, I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of creatives. I find immense fulfillment in sharing my knowledge and experiences with students, guiding them to explore their unique voices and develop their skills. This commitment to mentorship is an extension of my belief that creativity flourishes in an environment of collaboration and support.
As I continue to navigate the evolving landscape of design, I remain committed to pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities. My goal is to inspire others through my work, fostering a deeper appreciation for the art of design and its transformative potential.
