Overview
This design celebrates Leicester through time, from the Georgian New Walk promenade and Leicester tramways to the modern-day city centre. Leicester was a settlement in the Domesday Book in AD 1086. The design features an array of Leicester landmarks, including the iconic Cathedral and historic Guildhall to vibrant Highcross and picturesque Abbey Park. This design evokes travel and discovery, and tells a story of Leicester through the ages. Can you spot any of your favourite places to visit?

Meet the Artist
Rachael & Phillippa Corcut
Rachael and Phillippa are illustrators and twin sisters based in the Midlands. They work together as an illustration collective. After graduating from the University of Derby with a First Class (Hons) Degree in Illustration, they have gone on to create illustrations for children’s books, magazines and greetings cards, some of their clients include Scholastic publishing, Oxford University Press and Harper Collins. They have also painted over 40 sculptures for public art trails across the UK.
