Overview
We held a competition to design our elephant across the whole of the secondary school. The ideas came flooding in and our final design was a compilation of 15 different submissions. Over a period of 1-2 weeks many students from year 7 to 11 helped to paint our elephant whilst it hung out in the Art rooms. Our Primary school students named our elephant Elmer. Elmer embodies our Avanti values – the Avanti wheel rests on its back and the designs shows our students’ love of nature, colour and pattern and a respect for the cultures of our school.
