Overview

Inspired by the galaxy and stars, Thurnby Mead Primary Academy’s design seeks to celebrate its community’s diversity, uniqueness, and unity. The children contributed to the design using a vibrant splatter effect in space-themed colours, adding stars to represent uniqueness. The children named the sculpture Miku Hoshino, meaning “Future Star Field,” reflecting their belief that every child is wonderfully unique, who are destined to shine brightly and make a positive impact on the world.
