Overview

The children were very excited when our baby elephant arrived and after a a discussion on names and a voting poll on our facebook page, Poppy was the favourite name. The children helped to paint the basecoat and we decided to base our design on one of our favourite books Elmer. The children chose the colours based on their Key worker groups and placed their handprints on their coloured squares. We had enough squares left to add all the staff aswell. Poppy was Painted in memory of Christine Gamble, our managers Mum who spent 11 days in LOROS at the end of February 2025.
