Remember Me

Overview

The idea for Remember Me came from the way we often remember loved ones through photographs – a picture in time that brings back memories of our loved ones.

Utilising the iconic Polaroid, the sculpture is strewn with photo frames just like the bedroom floor when we’re sifting through our favourite images.

Each frame preserves a name of a loved one, accompanied by forget me nots, robins and butterflies.

Can you find Remember Me’s hidden message – “A picture is worth a thousand words but a memory is priceless”?

If you’d like your loved one’s name remembered on this artwork, please visit https://www.loros.co.uk/RememberMe

Meet the Artist

Anna Shutt

I have lived and worked in Leicestershire for the past 14 years and I am keen lover of art and in particular, art that connects people with emotions and a causes. I enjoy Leicestershire’s vibrant culture and art. I studied visual art at university and love to use my skills in my own life, at home as a hobby, for friends and family but also in the community. I love to use colour theory in my work and believe that the choice of colour used changes the impact of a piece of artwork. I enjoy using mixed media, with an illustrative style and I like my work to be both impactful and meaningful.
