Overview

Meet ‘Sir Stomp-a-lot’, a truly unique elephant! Covered entirely in coins – from shiny 2 pence pieces to £2 coins – every inch of his body, from his trunk right down to his tail, gleams with metal. Because he’s made from these tough, smooth coins, Sir Stomp-a-lot is built to last and will sparkle beautifully in any light, day or night.

Meet the Artist

Angus

Angus is a “Surprisingly Adequate” independent 8-Bit Artist specialising in Tiles, Coins & Lego. He has been creating works of art since early 2015. With no formal training and no background in art, he has self taught and hit the ground running with his 8-Bit tongue in cheek style. Angus takes his inspiration from retro video / arcade games and  the people in his life to help him create his unique works of art for Sculpture trails, gallery’s and the streets for people to enjoy.  With pervious experience of several sculpture trails under my belt its very rewarding creating fun pieces of art for all ages of the public to enjoy and at the end of the day raising awareness and vital funds for the people who need them the most. Stomp round Leicester offers all of the above and more with Sir Stomp-a-lot made completely out of coins stomping around the streets of Leicester  for all to enjoy.
