Overview
Getting outdoors is great for our mental health and Welly isn’t going to let a bit of rain stop him! Even better, the sun has made a little appearance and treated Welly to a beautiful rainbow. Artist Emma Everitt wants everyone to enjoy the Stomp Round Leicester art trail no matter the weather, and hopes Welly can encourage people to get their wellies on and enjoy!

Meet the Artist
Emma Everitt
Hi, my name is Emma, a 48 year old artist living and working on Barry Island in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan. My vibrant and cheerful work is inspired by the colours and sounds of nature- particularly the sea. My happy place is sitting on a beach with a sketchbook, listening to the sea while I draw. I love to use bright colours and bold outlines to make my artwork ‘pop’. I create work digitally, and with acrylic on canvas- but my absolute favourite thing to do is murals. There’s something very exciting about being let loose on a large wall or translating a 2D design onto a 3D sculpture!
