Willow the E-leaf-phant

Overview
A selection of our junior children in years 3 to 6 created Willow The E-leaf-phant, based around our school’s aim of becoming biophilic. (A design approach which looks to incorporate natural elements into buildings and classrooms) Children in art club helped with the initial design. Then children from across Key Stage 2 designed a leaf and added insects and patterns to make each one unique. We also added stitched flowers, butterflies and even earrings, to give Willow a personality all of her own!
