XL

Overview

Invited by proud Stomp Round Leicester partners NEXT, internationally renowned artist Alex Echo happily became an elephant painter, saying: “LOROS and NEXT told me the elephant was extra-large (XL), and that it was to celebrate LOROS’s 40th year – which appropriately is XL in Roman numerals. I immediately thought of 40 colours to honour each year. Painting is a dance, and I didn’t want to dance alone, so I invited people from the Leicester community – including LOROS nurses and patients – to join in the painting. Life is a shared dance!”
